1931 Ford Model A Coupe This rod was started and put together more than 30 years ago in the early 80's and sat in storage until a couple of months ago when the family owner, who had passed, decided to sell. The frame is a modern, completely boxed-style with dropped front tube axle and 4 bar suspension. Which is the ideal and proper setup for smoothness and drivability. It also has disc brakes and Vega steering box with cross steer. The rear axle is a narrowed Ford 8' with triangulated 4 link and coil over shocks. The motor is a 70's Ford 302 cu. in. and has an automatic C4 transmission with Genie shifter and emergency brake. It runs with a 2 barrel carb and new mechanical distributor. Finished up the brakes and bled the system... all new. Replaced water pump, flushed and serviced cooling system. It all runs through a new Walker radiator and electric fan. Original cowl mounted gas tank with new shut off, fuel lines and sediment bowl. The entire electrical system is new. All new wires, alternator, regulator, solenoid and battery. Gauges, lights and switches wired into new modern fuse panel. New windshield glass installed. Modern Dodge Caravan seat makes the ride super comfortable with new latch style safety belts. Roof is open with new top wood kit. New door latches, running boards, 4 piece Rootlieb louvered hood, interior garnish moldings and two brand new front tires. Have many other parts to include, not yet installed. Clean and clear title, license and registration all up to date.
