1931 Chrysler Sedan-This Antique TURNS HEADS on EVERY BLOCK -Spectacular highly desirable early Chrysler sedan. Powerful, sleek, and very road-worthy, a fantastic head turner. It's 4 suicide doors and appearance is that of a 'gangster boss' car. This 1931 Chrysler CM6 sedan is flashy, no question about it. The two-tone Dark over light Green paint scheme looks right on this four door sedan. 1931 Chrysler quality workmanship is incredible, with expert attention to details. It does show some signs of use but much less wear and tear then one might expect. Normal storage with the intent never to make it a daily driver. The chrome shines brilliantly and shows remarkable details from this era. Other details include Chrysler-6 logo on the grill and hubcaps including the spare tire on the rear bumper. Twin horns plus cow bell, fog lamps, step plates / running boards, all add to the impressive look of this fabulous sedan. The interior seats are trimmed with wide pleats and some expected wear, a testament to quality materials and workmanship. A full array of lovely white-faced instruments (and you thought they were a recent invention, didn't you?) allows you to keep an eye on the engine's vitals and they are all fully functional, (except gas gauge needs appropriate float). A 'suicide knob' on the steering wheel is original and legal for this period auto. The Mohair rear seat is huge and includes 3 matching set of side curtains and magnificent matching corded straps. Chrysler's popularity likely stemmed from the impressive 217.6 cubic inch inline-six engine that powers the CM6. With seven main bearings, it's incomparably durable, and it makes a very robust 80 horsepower. Fully functioning, it shows about the right amount of wear for the miles of touring, to be expected. A rebuilt gas pump, radiator and brake lines assure safe touring. Everything under the 2 sided folding hood is easily accessable. You'll note the master cylinder for the hydraulic brake system.
