1967 Ford Shelby GT500 - This is a true 1967 shelby GT500 car #2939
i have lots of documentation including the original owners manual,
sales brochures, receipts from where the dealer installed the 427
engine after the original owner blew up the 428 pi within a few
days of ownership. this car was originally lime gold, 428 pi with
automatic transmission. Now it is viper red and was painted in
1995, has a 427 that was installed by the dealer and a 4 speed
RUG-AE transmission also installed by the dealer in 1969. i have
the complete owner history. the interior is original with hardly
any wear. the engine has aprox 600 HP and runs great! This car has
seen a lot of drag strips in its early years which is why the
dealer installed a power house to take the beating. The top end of
the engine was replaced when i purchased the car, it had the C7AE
heads and the 2x4 C7ZX intake and a C7OE distributor. now it has
the Edelbrock aluminum heads with the big stainless steel valves,
single 4v and electronic distributor with CJ exhaust manifolds.
This was changed due to getting the most horse power and not
fouling out any plugs by getting the hottest fire to the plugs. It
is truly a awesome car and gets lots of attention. -Vehicle is on
