Vehicle Description
1929 Ford Model A Sport Coupe. The convertible top is not
functional it was just for looks. The car was built about 10 years
ago from a pretty much rust free orig steel body. I see no sings of
any body rust repair. It has 14,000 miles of fun on it, since
built. The wooden floor has been replaced with a aftermarket steel
insert. The frame has been boxed, 4 bar and dropped axle up front
with power disc brakes, 4 bar and coil-overs in the rear holding a
10 bolt rear end. the chassis is just painted black for low
maintenance. The 350 motor was rebuilt pretty much stock (I was
told). I has a small cam, aluminum intake and Edlebrock 4 barrel,
walker radiator, turbo 350 transmission, Lokar shifter, new
driveshaft, drum brakes on the rear. 2 years ago, it went under a
cosmetic restoration with new interior and paint. It was take all
apart and was repainted Diamont black cherry pearl base/coat
clear/coat. It has been driven, so a couple of nicks. The is a
minor scrap on the edge of each back fender. you cant see it in the
photos. It has been touched up, but is there. So, the paint is not
perfect, but very nice. The interior is a combination of Beechwood
Allantra ultra leather and walnut Reseda. The seat is custom made
and slides forward and back. Plenty of room for a tall guy! Ididit
tilt column, SW gauges, new glass, new wiring, etc. The hood is 1
piece from Rootlieb, The wheels are new Vintique smoothies and
brand new tires. The look and stance is just perfect for a model A.
the car runs and drove well; however, recently it has developed a
transmission problem. Still runs, drives, and shifts, but now has a
noise and vibration in it. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
