The 1964 GTO is generally regarded as the first highly popular, widely available muscle car and the one that opened the door for a multitude of mid-1960s to early 1970s affordable American muscle cars. Nearly all domestic high-performance autos were called ''super cars,'' or mainly ''muscle cars,'' after the first GTO debuted in '64. Sitting pretty in our showroom is a perfect example of the true american muscle car that started it all, this '64 Pontiac GTO painted in a beautiful Silvermist grey and sitting on its original 14'' Rally wheels has been well preserved and maintained throughout the years.
