1971 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside Pu. DGT1853. VIN CE141F631853. New
New New. 350 V-8, Turbo 350 Automatic transmission, Power Steering,
Power Disc Brakes on the front. This truck is freshly restored,
restoration was completed within the last year. We actually sold
this truck to a good customer and he tore it down and restored it.
He spent $50K on the restoration and he did a lot of the work
himself. The bed, doors, hood and fenders and box were all removed
for the restoration. This truck was running and driving when we
sold it to him, but he wanted to rebuild it. The engine is a brand
new crate 350. The transmission was rebuilt. The front suspension
is all rebuilt. The steering box was replaced with a quick ratio
steering box. All new electrical wiring. The upholstery is all new,
new dash pad, new gauges, new radio, recovered and rebuilt seat,
new rubber floor mat, new 3 point seat belts, and it goes on. I
believe about the only things that he didn't do himself were the
paint and the front end alignment. The paint work was done by
Edmonds Auto Body which is only a few miles from our showroom. We
just had Dan Fast install all new exhaust including new headers,
pipes and Magna Flow mufflers, which sound amazing. When he took it
apart he pulled the vin tag like when he had it painted. When you
look at the photos you will see a photo of the vin tag pop riveted
back on. The frame # matches the vin. See vin notice in photos.
This truck has been serviced and safety checked by Acme Auto
Electric and is ready to be driven. I've put a few miles on it and
it is a joy to drive. I would drive this truck anywhere and be
proud to own it.
