Conditioning The car has an LS1 V-8 engine and 6-speed manual
transmission. Performance has been enhanced with the addition of a
D Series ProCharger supercharger, tuned headers and SLP exhaust, OZ
Racing 3 piece aluminum wheels, Goodyear F1 tires, drive shaft
loop, rear axle ladder bar, carbon fiber drive shaft, upgraded
brakes and hardened rear axle shafts. The 2002 model year was the
end of the line for the Chevrolet Camaro (until it was resurrected
for the 2010 model year). Camaros were available as coupes or
convertibles, in base or Z28 trim. An SS Performance/Appearance
Package was available on Z28s. Base coupes came with a 3.8L V-6
engine and 5-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission
was optional on the coupes, standard on convertibles. Z28s got a
310 horsepower 5.7L LS-1 V-8 engine. The power went up to 325 with
the SS Package. A 4-speed automatic transmission was standard, with
