1989 Aston Martin Volante for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to
offer this rare 1989 Aston Martin Volante featured in Cannock Black
with Dark red leather piped in Black with matching black
convertible. The Series 5 V8 Volante debuted at the New York
International Auto Show in 1986. The Series 5 was primarily
differentiated by the addition of fuel-injection and the compact
Weber/Marelli system no longer needed the space of the previous
carburetors, so the bonnet bulge was virtually eliminated. A total
of 405 Series 5 cars were built before production ceased in 1989,
and our car is a very late example. The Volante is the convertible
version, and the Series 5 Volante received the same changes. 216
Volantes were built. This car comes to us from a private collector
who has owned the car for five years and maintained it in his
personal workshop where less than 200 miles were added. It is in
pristine original condition with only 41,577 miles. The Volante is
powered by Astons 5.3L V8 with a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Books and fitted luggage are included. This bespoke Aston Martin is
a masterpiece of hand-craftsmanship and is truly a delight to
drive.
