The year 1947 presented challenges for the Ford Motor Company as
Henry Ford passed away just four years after his son Edsel Ford
died. Henry Ford II took over during this time when Ford Motor

when Americans were anticipating the post war designs. Basically
for 1947, Ford modified the 1941 model through the 1948 model year.

were still a head turner. This 1947 Ford convertible has had a
ground up restoration. The Monsoon Maroon paint is excellent and
new. All chrome and stainless trim is in excellent shape. The tan
top is also brand new. Interior is tan leather and is brand new.

condition. Engine is the original Flathead V8 with 3 carbs,
Edelbrock heads, and electronic ignition. Other features are dual
exhaust, electric windshield wipers, electric fuel pump, tubular
rear shocks, and 15 inch wheels with radial tires. Rear end is a
3:27 gear ratio. This 1947 Ford runs and drives with excellent
performance. It is quiet when driving on the road, does not
