Pontiac Trans Am Comp T/A! This is a very original and correct car.
These 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Comp T/A cars are pretty low production
vehicles and this is a fine example. In 1995, Pontiac, SLP and BF
Goodrich built a small run of Trans Am Comp T/A cars to celebrate
25 years of BFG's Comp T/A tire. From 1995 to 1997, a total of 200
cars were built. 1997 saw Pontiac build the last 47 Comp T/As -
only seven of which were coupes like this car; and of those coupes,
only 2 were equipped with the automatic transmission. This is car
#188 of 200 and includes the optional sport suspension, torsen rear
differential and oil cooler packages. The outside is Bright Silver
Metallic with black leather interior. Both the exterior and
interior are in fantastic condition. In the glove box is original
documentation from Pontiac, and the complimentary keychain and
associated goodies that came with the car new. Under the hood is
the 5.7-liter, 350 cubic inch LT1 engine. This was essentially the
same engine as the Corvette at the time, but with less restrictive
intake and exhaust systems installed by SLP, and was rated at
310hp. 10hp more than the Corvette and 25hp more than a standard
LT1 Trans Am. The transmission is the stronger 4L60 4 speed
automatic. The AC on this one is not blowing completely cold,
however likely just needs a charge. This car also comes with the
factory Comp T/A floormats and the Comp T/A car cover. 1997 Pontiac
