This 1966 Chevelle SS is being sold by a muscle car enthusiast who has an impressive collection. It was restored around 2 years ago and the car is impeccable. It is a true SS with the popular combination of red body and black interior and it really stands out with its Cragar chrome wheels. It is powered by 396 4BBL with 4-Speed M22 tranny, Hurst shifter (the original Muncie shifter is also part of the sale), 12 bolt posi rear-end 3:73 and dual exhaust. The engine is not original, but period correct. The black interior is immaculate with new vinyl bucket seats and aftermarket tach and gauges. The engine and underside are very clean. The body, trunk and floors are solid. This car was originally from SC and has never seen inclement weather conditions.
