This is a very nice 1966 Pontiac GTO 2 Dr hardtop that is powered
by Pontiacs famous '67 400 cubic inch engine and a '66 Pontiac
Tri-Power carburetor set up. This GTO has the correct center
console which houses the standard shifter for the 3 speed TH 350
automatic transmission, which transfers the power to the rear
wheels. The transmission shifts easily and the torquey 400 pulls it
around with the kind of enthusiasm you'd expect from a GTO with
dual exhaust. Mechanically this car is very sound, the brakes
steering and transmission all function as they are supposed to.
With only 89,935 miles on the car, the rebuilt engine was recently
refreshed with gaskets and seals and a full clean up to be ready
for show, and it runs great-this is not your run-of-the-mill
trailer queen. The exterior of this car is very straight and solid.
There are no rust issues and the car still wears its original
factory fenders with all the correct stampings. Frame is solid with
no issues. The car came from the factory with a 'Martinique Bronze'
metallic and was repainted to the factory color. The "Cordova
Black" vinyl top was replaced. The Bronze interior has also been
replaced with a new interior giving the car a beautiful look from
exterior to interior. Lots of fun to drive and eye catching to
boot. This truck gets everything right and has no needs. If you
want the best, this might be it, all at a price that's a fraction
of the cost to get it there! Please Note The Following **Vehicle
