Here we have a 1970 Plymouth Superbird for sale. One of the most
iconic Muscle Cars ever built the Superbird almost feels like a Car
of Myth as not everyone has even seen one. With less than 2,000
ever built and easily half of that on the road today we are proud
to give you the opportunity to be one of the few to own a try
Superbird. It's features the Matching Numbers 440 and 727 Trans.
Also, it was the 128th Superbird to be produced. In the paragraphs
to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior,
interior, and driveline of the Plymouth, but first we would like to
tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Superbird. When you

brought Richard Petty back to Plymouth from Ford. This one even has
The Kings Signature on the Front Fender. You can see the wing on
this Superbird is in excellent condition and is adorned with the
RoadRunner Superbird Decal. To finish the exterior, it's sitting on
the stock style wheels with Firestone Wide Oval White Letter
Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '70. On the inside it's
done in the black with bench seat whish is also the factory option
for it. Both the front and rear seats are in excellent condition.
Also the door panesl are in great condition as well along with the
headliners and carpet. Looking at the dash you'll see that it looks
phenomenal and sports the factory Steering Wheel which has the
working Beep Beep horn. This is a factory automatic on the column
car and all the gauges re in great condition. It's also still got
the factory style radio. In the trunk it has the Spare, Jack and
Trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Plymouth. Under the
hood it's powered by the Matching Numbers 440 Engine that's set up
with the correct 2951736 Intake with a Holley 750 Carb. It's
dressed in the stock style valve covers and air cleaner. It has the
Fender Tag, radiator support stamping and trunk lip stamping. The
440 V8 is mated to the Matching Numbers 727 Trans that goes out
back to the Sure Grip 8 " Rear end with a 3.55 gear. For exhaust
