This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 283 c.i. - 283 HP V8
engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. Only 664 4-speed
Corvettes were built in 1957. This one was a June 1957 build. It is
the original Venetian Red with beige coves, Radio-delete. This car
was restored approximately 15 years ago. The Fuel Injection unit
was restored/rebuilt as well. The previous owner purchased the car
directly the person who restored the car right after the
restoration was completed. They drove the car very sparingly, just
for occasional exercise. It received NCRS 'Top Flight' status in
2007, scoring 94.4. Many of the interior components are original,
which provides evidence that this car has always been 'nice' since
the day it was born, and has benefited from conscientious
ownership. It runs and drives wonderfully. It has been
stored/maintained/serviced for the last 5+ years, in air
conditioning, on carpet. It is a 'real car' and a good car in all
