Powerglide Miles: 95110 1961 saw some major restyling by Chevrolet
on the Corvette. The toothed front grill was replaced with a 1
piece anodized aluminum grill, the headlight surrounds went from
chrome to body color. The rear end was also restyled with 4 round
tailights and the exhaust exits behind the rear wheels instead of
through the rear bumpers. The transmission tunnel was also narrowed
so the 61 & 62 Corvettes have the most interior space of the first
generation corvettes. 1961 was the last year that contrasting
painted side coves were available. This Honduras Maroon example was
frame on restored and less than 1000 miles have been put on the car
since the restoration was completed. It has its numbers matching
230hp engine. The only deviation from factory stock are: a high
flowing water pump, a Harrison aluminum radiator, and steel belted
radial tires. This Corvette is a great driver that is ready to be
enjoyed by its next care taker. For further information please call
