This is the old school 1930 Model A Hot Rod. The car was originally
built in the late 60's to early 70's. The current owners are not
sure of the exact date of the build. It was built as a drag car at
the time. The paint job was done during the same build. It is a
unique and eye catching paint job. It may not be the prettiest car
driving the road, but it is a definite head turner. Every where
they go with the car, people want see more of it and hear it run.
It is a blast of a car. The car has a built Corvette 327. The
current owners are not sure of the internals, but it has dual
Edelbrock quads. Attached to the engine is a Saginaw 4-speed. The
car runs awesome. Due to the small tank, the range on the car is
only about 100 miles. While it is a short distance, you will smile
the whole time. The car is loud and fast. The car is channeled.
Originally, the car was a rumble seat. The rumble seat area is now
home to a 10 gallon fuel tank. This car is not perfect. As
mentioned earlier, it is an old build. The current owners did not
want to destroy any of the nostalgic quality of the car. The paint
is cracking in some spots and fading in others. It is still one of
the coolest cars at the car shows due to its old time appeal.
