Both are legendary 427ci cars. This is one of only 1,178 SS 427's built in 1968. A concourse frame-off restoration was completed on this car to create the work of art you see here. Owned by a life-time car enthusiast that spared no expense to make sure this Impala SS was done right. All components on this car are the original parts that the car was built with. Starter, Alternator, Distributor, Carburetor, etc are the pieces it left the factory with. So this build was done with extreme attention to originality. The original Engine was built by Wheeler Racing in Minnesota, so you know it is done right. It would be impossible to restore another car to this level without spending a small fortune.
