Recently arrived and thoroughly vetted and detailed. Here's a great
MGA 1600 roadster out of long term ownership. This MGA is solid all
around. Most importantly, it has a solid and straight rust free
body and frame. While MGAs in general tend to have robust engines,
this one runs particularly well with strong compression running
between 160 psi and 170 psi across the board. Great oil pressure
means a strong bottom end. Numbers are one thing but another is
what you feel when you open the throttle and this car delivers. The
paint is a high quality older respray that has held up very well.
Small faults can be found on close examination but the overall
presentation is a testament to being done right and loving care by
the last owner. The car's chrome wire wheels are virtually as new
and provide a contrast that accentuates the beautiful red body
color. The red theme continues as piping on the black leather seats
and those seats are in great shape. The have an inviting patina and
once inside, your body confirms what the eye sees relating to the
wonderful condition. This car starts, runs, drives, and stops very
well. It is fully sorted and ready to drive and enjoy. We invite
you to visit our shop to inspect and drive this car and we're
confident you won't be disappointed. Our shop is located just off
I70, a mile west of the St. Louis airport so we're conveniently
located whether you're driving or flying in. We're also happy to
accommodate third party inspections. For more information now, call
or text Mike at 573-579-4617 or email to Mike@ItsAliveAuto.com.
Thank you for your interest.
