Bought from the original owner several years ago, we have been fortunate to get this classic 560SL back again for its next caretaker. Still wearing its original Signal Red finish with spotless Black leather, the car is complete with all of the factory owner’s manuals, window sticker, extra keys, unused spare & trunk tools and a completely clean CarFax report that backs up the mileage.
Factory optioned with heated seats (as very few were) and factory hardtop, the hardly-used black soft top is as-new and the entire car is a step back to the late 1980s and a show-perfect 560SL.
The uncommonly low mileage and prolonged storage was offset with significant service work to bring the fuel system, brakes and A/C function back to correct operation—all done by a Mercedes-only specialty shop and backed by recent receipts. New Michelins and battery assure Mercedes reliability and the car even comes with a set of factory shop manuals and period sales literature. Priced well below the few other examples extant with similar low mileage, this SL is not to be missed.
