This is a very nice mid 80s Ferrari 250 GTO tribute car built by
Alpha 1 of Design & Engineering of Huntington Beach Cal. It was the
stage lll of the three stages offered. This was one of the last few
of the stage llls to be built by Alpha before Ferrari shut them
down. But by then Alpha really had things sorted out. Mostly
suspension etc. It handles great (at high speeds)and runs very
strong with the 400 HP V8 Corvette LT 1 drive train. It has
recently been restored and serviced. All new seals , moldings,
gaskets, exhaust ,paint carpets ,ETC. It draws more attention than
any other Ferrari I have ever driven . There were 36 GTOs built in
Modena Italy between 1962 and 1964 with a recent one selling at
Pebble Beach Aug 2018 for $60 million. This car has all of the
correct (genuine) badges, emblems along with real wire wheel knock
offs. All of the synchros, clutch, and gears work perfectly and
what a melody it is to drive. I met Joe Alpha owner of Alpha yrs
before he took on this project and he was a very meticulous
creative soul and he turned out some very interesting cars . The
last few pictures of the car are after the car came back and was
polished. I have the original catalog and memorabilia on this car.
