Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is very excited to offer this
Imported from Italy, 1986 DeTomaso Pantera GT5S Sports Car. This
car is not only "technically" an original owner car, she has been
in the states since 7/27/86, and well documented with owner's
manual, and certificate. The GT5S replaced the GT5 in '85, Vin #'s
analyzed by the Pantera Owners Club of America said records show
less than 183 of these cars were built for the 1986 model year. The
S stood for steel and featured single piece flared steel fenders
instead of the GT5's bolted-on fiberglass flares, and smaller steel
front air dam. This example is finished in a very nice Coral Red
paint job, and Black Leather interior. To say this one is an "eye
catcher" is a bit of un under-statement - as she is a work of art
on wheels! WOW - is all one can say!! This fine example is powered
by a 351 cu. In Cleveland V-8 mated to a ZF 5-speed manual
transmission. History shows Ford had stopped producing the
Cleveland 351's for public use - however - it was produced by Ford
for Nascar - and they sold the motors to DeTomaso. The car is
optioned with; Leather Interior, A/C, Power Brakes, Power Locks,
Power Windows, Traction Control, Posi-Traction, Alpine Am/Fm/Cass
Stereo, Aftermarket Aluminum Wheels, Perelli PZERO 245/40ZR17,
335/35ZR17 Tires, and Space Saver Spare Tire. The owner states she
comes with: engine and transmission plaques, filler bottle, tool
kit, original wheels and tires, and miscellaneous items listed
