Benz Gazelle roadster. This fine example is based on a 1976 VW
platform utilizing a 1915 cc 4-cylinder engine, mated to a 4-speed
manual transmission. The consignor is a ASE mechanic who built this
kit car in 2015 himself, and has the documentation to back it up.
This car is equipped with independent rear suspension, the rebuilt
engine has deep sump, external oil filter and cooler, [bringing
capacity to ~5-qts] a Scat 100 cam, big valve heads, 1.5" rockers,
and dual Webber carbs, and new clutch, with just 630-miles on it.
He estimates she is pushing 95-100-hp, and is proud to inform that
he hand-made the wiring harness, and all connectors are soldered
-no connectors to fail! This fine example Gazelle has been painted
Burgundy, w/ Black fenders, and Tan interior. This little Mercedes
Benz Gazelle is pure pleasure to drive, nimble and quick, and while
eclipsing 120 MPH will not be easy, this car is the classic example
of the you don't have to go fast to have fun rule. Spending a day
cruising the back county roads in this little Gazelle would be like
