For Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a shiny, 1961 Chevrolet
Corvette Convertible. 1961 marked the first year for an updated
front fascia for the Corvette which removed the "teeth" from the
grill area. This specific Corvette is dressed in Honduras Maroon
with a Black vinyl interior. This Corvette's power plant is the
biggest selling point of the car, it is an original 283 CID Fuel
Injected V8 pumping out a solid 315 horsepower! Only 1400 of these
fuel injected Corvettes were made in the year of 1961, the majority
of them being converted back to carburetor after finding that the
fuel injection system was much too difficult to repair. Paired to
that rare and powerful motor is a 4-speed manual transmission that
shifts through the gears like a hot knife through butter. The
interior on this Corvette is sporting it's all original look with a
Black vinyl interior which gives you a nostalgic feeling every time
you are behind the wheel. This Corvette comes with many new
features including a paint matched hard top, stainless exhaust,
stainless fuel lines, stainless brake lines, aluminum radiator, and
a freshly rebuilt motor. Whether it is driving down your favorite
winding road with the top down or cruising down to your local car
show, this first-generation Corvette is sure to please its next
owner. For more information on this vehicle including HD photos and
