introduced the 944 for the 1982 model year. It was slightly faster
and was better equipped and more refined than the 924 of previous
years. It was given better handling and stopping power and was more
comfortable to drive. The car has a nearly even front to rear
weight distribution (50.7% front/49.3% rear) courtesy of the rear
transaxle balancing out the engine in the front. Powered by a 2.5L
M44 I4 engine and backed by a 5-speed manual transmission, this
example moves as well as it looks. This Porsche has been freshly
detailed and was very well maintained by the previous owner over
that last 27 years with a host of new parts and upgrades. Upgrades
include: New tires, battery, wiper motor, steering rack, shifter
