debuted the Vortech Edition Mustang at the '06 SEMA show. This is
the first time in Vortech's long history in which it has permitted
a specialty-car manufacturer to use the Vortech name as a benchmark
for creating a car. The crew at ASC combined speed and looks to
form the next great American icon. With only 100 examples being
sold through select Ford dealers, this car will be hot in more ways
than one. These models are equipped with a Vortech blower and an
air-to-water charge cooler. Packing eight pounds of boost, the
modified mill now pushes out an estimated 515hp. Keeping the 4.6
Liter engine cool is an LFP radiator, while beefing up the shifting
chores of the factory 5 speed manual transmission are a SPEC
flywheel and clutch. Baer GT-Plus front and Eradispeed rear brakes
provide the stopping power. The look of this special edition
Mustang is finished off with a ducktail rear spoiler, CDC front
spoiler and a Street Scene Equipment black and chrome grille that
replaced the factory grill. The example we have for sale is just
broken in with less than 33,000 miles on the clock. It is just
