Our Fort Lauderdale showroom welcomes a 1969 Buick GS Stage 1
CONVERTIBLE. This is one of 212 ever made. This GS features a
completely rebuilt drivetrain; the original 400 was replaced with a
larger 455 engine, and a 700R4 4-SPEED automatic transmission was
selected to replace the original THM 400. (The Seller has the
original 400 turbo 3 speed). The 455 transplant dyno'd at 536 hp &
623 peak torque (dyno sheet included). Big-block Buicks make some
serious power, and the large bore, shorter stroke design has always
made them a performance favorite. A 12-bolt 3:73 posi is a perfect
choice for that pin-you-in-your-seat acceleration. The interior
features original black bucket seats, console, tilt wheel, Daytona
digital dash upgrade, and console. Other improvements feature
headers, and 3" stainless exhaust. Considerable paperwork comes
with the purchase, including the build sheet showing the GS
designations. Fig Performance built the drivetrain and fabulous
restorations painted the car. It is a factory AC car, converted to
aftermarket, more reliable AC. Upgraded to front disc brakes, and
the Seller has the original 14-inch wheels in storage. 15-inch NOS
wheels are on the car now. New under dash aftermarket A/C. Always
garage kept for its lifetime. The convertible top frame is power
coated as well. This car is sharp! AM/FM radio, power top, brakes,
steering, windows, radial tires with rally wheels. Getting harder
and harder to find nice examples, so don't wait. This 1969 Buick GS
Stage 1 can be viewed on our website with 100 HD PICS and a video
