Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is honored to offer this
beautiful-in-blue 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible for sale
right now in our showroom, located in Carmel Indiana. This is
definitely one of my favorite pieces of inventory in stock and it's
only been in the showroom a few days. This vehicle underwent a
frame-off restoration under previous ownership and has been
maintained impeccably by the current owner. This 1966 Chevelle for
sale is painted in blue which compliments the white vinyl interior
perfectly. It also has a white convertible top that is operated
manually and is also in fantastic condition. There really isn't
much to do to this Chevelle cosmetically speaking. This car comes
with a big block 396 CID V8 that has been punched to 402 cubic
inches. Disclosure: this is not a gas saving motor with the two
4-bbl carburetors! You will have plenty to smile about when you let
the clutch go and take off through the 4-speed manual transmission.
The rear end on this car is geared to 3:73 which is on the low side
but again, you'll be grinning from ear-to-ear when you beat the
competition off the line. Inside the cabin, you'll find some nice
add-ons such as a (working!) original clock by the floor shifter, a
mounted tachometer, Jensen stereo and aftermarket
tachometer/temperature/volt-meter/oil pressure gauges. As far as
drop-top muscle cars go, this one is hard to beat. Give our Sales
staff a call today at (317) 688-1100 for more information on this
1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible or any of our other
inventory for sale. Our Indianapolis team would also be happy to
field any email inquiries sent to
