Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1955 Ford
Pickup or sale. This 1955 Ford was a family project, put together
by father and son and it turned out great. The red exterior is
accented by cedar woodwork and it really sets this truck off. It
looks like it could have been the inspiration for the little red
truck that Dodge made in the 90s. This Ford truck is powered by the
original 272 CI V8 and it still has the three on the tree manual
transmission. The interior has been updated with matching
headliner, door panels, carpeting and bench seat. The dash is clean
and crisp with new Dolphin gauges, still maintaining the vintage
look. An updated AM FM CD stereo is out of sight and controlled by
remote. Under the hood the engine has been dressed up with the
usual chrome valve covers and air cleaner and presents well. This
truck has little detail items that make it stand out. Check out the
Ford foot pads on the running boards and the custom " wood shop"
Ford lettering on the tailgate. The bed of the truck has been
inlaid with custom Cedar planks. The craftsmanship is excellent and
it looks great. Drivability is enhanced by power steering and power
brakes which is a game changer in these old trucks. To view this
1955 Ford Pickup in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD
