Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1970 Shelby GT
350 for sale. This is a mostly original non restored car.
Originally a four-speed car it has been converted to an automatic.
This Shelby is equipped with a 351 CI V8. This car is well optioned
with air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. This Shelby
features a Red exterior finish with Gold side striping and a Black
Deluxe Shelby leather interior with Black carpeting. Original
15x7-inch Shelby Mag wheels, as well as a factory original front
chin spoiler and a pair of hood stripes exclusive to the 1970 model
year complete the Shelby styling. In 1970, fresh off five years of
success, Ford and Shelby combined to produce their most potent GT
350 Mustang edition to date. The 1970 Shelby GT350 Fastback would
be the last of its kind, new and more strict U.S. pollution
controls would force Ford to end production of its legendary race
car for the road or face serious fines. Only 789 examples of the
GT350 were produced for the 1970 model year. Almost all the 1970
Shelbys were basically leftover from the 1969 model year, and were,
under the strict supervision of the FBI, issued new VIN numbers.
That 'last-of-its-kind' detail has always made the 1970 a more
desirable piece among Shelby enthusiast and collectors. To view
this 1970 Shelby GT350 in greater detail, including HD pictures and
