its original paint still in remarkable condition reflecting its
care and limited use of the years. We have 20 photos of paint depth
meter readings from various areas around the car, all in the range
of Porsche factory paint. There is absolutely no panel rust on the
car and we have thoroughly checked the underside as well. Even the
infamous battery tray is proudly displaying all original paint. The
car was never driven in adverse conditions and it shows. In the
process of recommissioning this car, for both safety and
performance, our shop has addressed the following items with
potential for age related deterioration. These include new tires,
new OEM brake calipers and rotors, brake lines and flex lines. As
part of a thorough tune-up, the fuel injectors were rebuilt and the
gas tank was boiled. Besides a full professional detailing, the
only cosmetic item that needed attention were the carpets and they
were replaced with new in the correct material/color. This car has
never been repainted yet presents beautifully. It is consigned to
us for sale by its original owner. This car is extremely well
documented and its owner is available for questions from serious
buyers. This car is in excellent condition and that condition
reflects its value. It is doubtful you could restore a typical
mediocre 914 to this condition for the price of this car. However,
never restored survivors in excellent condition like this are
