delivered brand-new to a customer in the Boston, MA area. Built in
the Oldsmobile plant in Linder, NJ, and shipped up to Bell
Oldsmobile Inc. in Revere, MA. At the list price of $5,233.87
(MSRP) it was very expensive for your typical buyer in 1970 (see
window sticker). It underwent a restoration which only needed a
single repaint. Everything else was pretty much left alone.
Original BOS to the Owner, Sales contract, Owner's Manual, Buyer
Protection Plan, 2 build sheets. 1970 was a GM strike year--Hence
lower than normal productions run numbers: less than 20,000.
Oldsmobile 442 were built. and only 2,933 were convertibles! makes
this example very Rare indeed. 344 in the VIN = 4-4-2 OLDS Receipts
for maintenance work performed over the years. Very rare find. Well
