Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present a 1963 Rasmussen Indy Race
Car available in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom! This car has
history! Originally completed by Eldon Rasmussen as a Sprinter, it
was run as a 'super modified' in the Pacific Northwest. In 1969,
Eldon took it back to the Midwest and drove it as a USAC Sprint Car
in 1969, 1970 and 1971. Since then, it was re-fabricated into a
Watson body style, and continued racing across the world. This car
was the first Rasmussen Indy Car that features a front-end V8! With
a rich history in racing, and a signature from Cleo Shelby, this is
definitely one car your collection needs! Featured specifications
include: 3 speed transmission, anti-roll bars, 15 gal. side tank,
3" Halibrand rear axle, Enterprise Machine steering box, Aluminum
radiator, 7 gal. oil tank with built-in oil air separator, and last
but not least, a corvette V8 engine with a Holley Carburetor. This
