2001 was an historic year for our country and corvette. We all remember the date September 11, 2001; however, few corvette owners remember February 4, 2001. On that date, victory overall in the Rolex 24 of Daytona endurance race and in the GTS class went to the Number 2 Corvette C5R from Corvette Racing. Also, that was the last race Dale Earnhardt finished.
The 2001 Corvette Roadster listed is one of the best well cared for motorcars listed. This never painted Quicksilver Metallic car is flawless for its age. With less than 58k mileage and exceeding the recommended oil change intervals, the LS1 engine is like new.
One example of the care it has received is the brakes. For just appearance, the calipers, rotors and pads were renewed with drilled and slotted rotors, powder coated calipers. As you can see in the photos.
This convertible has been shown in the Amelia Island Concourse d’Elegance Cars and Coffee, with positive reviews from many in attendance.
