Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1968
Chevrolet El Camino. This beauty was built with high end equipment
to make her run. Walk around the Torch Red exterior and you will be
pleased with the body lines and fit and finish of this ride. The
gray interior shows minimal wear and looks very nice. The
impressive part of this car sits under the hood. Powering this
monster is a 500 CI Cadillac motor bored to 512 Cubic Inches!
Roller Rockers, high compression 10:1 heads, h-beam rods, and
forged pistons all have been done to make this monster really come
to life. The 400 TH transmission was rebuilt at the time of
restoration and hardened shafts were added to handle all that
power. A 9-inch ford rear end with 3.50 gear ratio makes this car
fun to drive on any road. Mosier 31-spline axels and an ARB air
locker has been added as well. This car has a lot of extras
including: Door poppers, Gas Tank Popper, Battery Cutoff, Power
Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt-wheel, seat belts and
so much more!!! This 1968 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our
Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including
