The Plymouth Roadrunner was based on the cartoon and an ad campaign
by Plymouth that featured Wiley Coyote. The Roadrunner was not a
fragile muscle car. Unlike some muscle cars such as the Corvette,
the Roadrunner was built for serious street driving. That may be
the reason many have survived. The Roadrunner was a favorite of
moonshiners as it was faster than any police car. It was also tough
enough to take any road hazards and with plenty of ground
clearance. This 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner has amazing performance. It
is tight, handles the road extremely well, has LOADS of power, and
shifts smoothly.Exterior is black with orange hood stripes, the
orange accent down the sides of the car, and of course, the
Roadrunner! Paint is excellent with no visible flaws. The body is
solid metal.Interior is black with a bench seat. Dash, carpet, and
headliner are black. The Tic Toc gauges are new. All interior
components are in excellent working condition. Radio is new with
new speakers. Under the dash the wiring is new. Engine is the 383
cid high performance with one 4 barrel carburetor. Transmission is
a 4 speed with Pistol Grip Shifter. This engine sounds great!
Transmission was rebuilt and the engine has been gone through. This
car does have power steering.New are the wiring in the back, new
battery, new cable links, new horn, new gas tank, new clutch, the
list goes on. All directionals work. All lights work. All gauges
work. The clock works. The owner went to great lengths to make sure
this car is in excellent driving condition and that all components
are in excellent working order. All this 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner
needs is a new owner! It is located in Pennsylvania.
