In 1911 General Motors formed the General Motors Truck Company
which soon became known as GMC. GMC has manufactured millions of
units since then, but no assembly plant has ever produced a
'Wideside' pickup like this one. Our 1979 GMC resto-rod brings
unique style and performance to the nameplate. It has been fully
restored and thoughtfully enhanced. Documentation of the build is
furnished as part of the sale. The body was professionally
resprayed in Tuxedo Black - a beautiful 2-stage finish. A custom
hood and rear roll pan were installed and 'Frenched' taillights
were stylishly integrated into the design. An A.R.E hydraulic deck
lid is fitted to the bed and a roll of bed floor mat material is
included with the sale. The custom black/white leather interior is
stunning. Features include A/C (needs TLC), Navigation system, tilt
wheel, digital gauges, power windows/locks, keyless entry and
center console w/AM/FM/CD stereo system. Horsepower is furnished by
a built 400ci V8. It is fitted with FiTech fuel injection, tube
headers, stainless exhaust and custom serpentine belt system.
Torque is delivered through a GM Turbo350 automatic to a RWD
differential. The GMC sits on an air-ride suspension system and the
chassis is equipped with power steering and Baer 4-wheel power disc
brakes w/4-piston calipers and vented rotors. Polished alloy wheels
(20") mount Nitto Crosstek performance radials. This outstanding
Resto GMC will likely sell quickly. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
