1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible that is a NUMBERS MATCHING 454
Big Block V8 car! This car was built in January 1970 and was the
719th produced; in 1969, Chevrolet had an excess of 427 V8s so they
started reboring and making them into 454s. The date code on this
block is December of 1969, so it is believed to be one of those
blocks that were converted and rebored. Finished in the brilliant
Monza Red (974 paint code) color that really looks great along that
chrome and brightwork throughout. Bumpers front and rear have a
good shine to them also. This car was restored in the early 1990's
and was featured in Corvette Fever magazine. This comes with a
folder filled with receipts and documentation of what has been done
to this car over the years. Interior is red vinyl bucket interior
(407 trim code) with white vinyl convertible top. Riding on redline
tires and corvette wheels. Interior is in great shape and shows it
was well taken care of. All gauges are functioning including the
clock! Odometer reads 66,961 miles, can't confirm that to be
original. Headlights pop up as they should also. Great running and
driving Corvette!
