After production ceased, Mr. Kightlinger retained the car as part of his personal collection for 38 years, until it was purchased by another Pennsylvania dealer in 2014. The second private party owner purchased the car in 2016. This Vega was acquired by the selling dealer in September 2019 and now shows just 338 miles. Finished in Dark Green Metallic over black vinyl, the car features bucket seats and a gold engine-turned dashboard fascia. Power is provided by the original 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four, which is paired with an optional five-speed manual gearbox and a Posi-traction rear end.
