This classic, unmolested 1969 Lincoln Continental appears to be
taken directly from a time-capsule. The speedometer reads 59,640
miles and, judging by its condition, may well be actual. Look at
the photos. This beautiful Coupe utilizes the long hood/short deck
configuration that was prominent for this generation of luxury
coupes. The original Medium Lime Metallic finish and contrasting
Dark Ivy vinyl top are in excellent condition. Inside, the Dark Ivy
leather interior looks virtually showroom. This Continental is
equipped with air conditioning, 6-way/reclining power split-bench
seat, power tinted windows, power locks, simulated English Oak
trim, factory AM/FM stereo and concealed headlights. Horsepower is
provided by what appears to be the original 460ci V8 that has not
been rebuilt and is still running flawlessly. It is backed by
Ford's C-6 3-speed Select-Shift Turbo Drive automatic that
transfers torque to a factory differential. This fifth-generation
Mark III has full side-rail frame construction and is fitted with
coil springs at all four corners. The coupe is equipped with power
steering and power front disc (11.7") / rear drum (11") brakes.
Steel wheels mount like-new Hankook 15" radials and are accented by
stunning factory wire-wheel hubcaps. This 1969 Continental Mark III
was not a high volume model (approx. 24,000 built) and there are
very few of these classic coupes around today - fewer still in this
showroom condition. Our beautiful Lincoln will look very stately in
your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
