1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS finished in Red paint with black
accents. Paint and brightwork are both in nice shape on this
Chevelle. Vinyl top is in great shape as well. This is a TRUE SS!
Powered by the 454 (bored to 468) V8 that is paired with a TH400
automatic transmission. This is also equipped with reverse valve
body, 4600 stall, headman headers, Griffin aluminum radiator,
Edelbrock intake, HEI ignition, Nitrous bottle, and trans lock.
Previous owner stated they widened the rear fenders instead of
"tubbing" it. Hotchkis suspension and Flowmaster exhaust
underneath. NOS bottle is located in the trunk as well as a fuel
cell and the relocated battery. Battery shut off switch is in the
rear as well. Riding on American Racing wheels with BFGoodrich Comp
T/A rubber in the rear. This has an 11:1 compression ratio and will
run on high-octane fuel (premium 92-100). Black vinyl bucket seat
interior with center console and shifter on the floor. Simpson
racing harnesses have been installed. Roll cage has been added with
removable bars on both sides. Aftermarket tachometer mounted on the
column as well as aftermarket gauge cluster installed under the
dash and Jensen stereo installed nicely in the dash. Wipers are
functioning as well. Great sounding Chevelle SS!
