Vehicle Description
It's the real deal, a Roush prepared Bondurant Race Car! . This car
is No. 81 - 2001 Roush / Bondurant Mustang GT is one of the few
cars that were sold to the public by the Bob Bondurant School of
High Performance Driving in Phoenix, AZ where it was used as
instructional car for various racing courses. This car is great for
track-days, time trials, and autocrosses.
Documentation includes the six-page build sheet initialed
step-by-step by the Roush Industries fabricators, the new car
check-in at Bondurant, all of the maintenance records from
Bondurant.
Approximately 10,182 miles and 435 hours on the Hobbs hour
meter.
This 2001 Mustang GT body in white car was shipped to Roush Racing
to be prepared for Bondurant Racing. The car still has all the
original Bondurant orange paint. Original value when new was
approximately fifty-five thousand dollars.
When Bondurant switched to GM, these few remaining cars slowly made
their way to market- (all previous models were taken back to
FOMOCO, evaluated for wear, and then crushed.)
During the changeover, customers sometimes got GM, and sometimes
Mustangs. Only the very few last surviving Mustangs were sold to
the public
This Mustang is very clean and ready to hit the track! although it
has almost everything to be street legal it is not, it is for track
day. This car is sold with a Bill of Sale and includes the
Bondurant records. This car would be great at NASA, SCCA HPDE or
Midwestern Council of Motorsports or with a little work can be used
for wheel to wheel racing at any racing organization, you would
have to add door bars and remove the rest of the interior is the
major work to be done.

Battery relocated to trunk (encased) with external charge plug and
master power switch
