It is not often that we get a pickup that has lived in a time
capsule. This 1976 Chevy Scottsdale 20 is an exception. It has
spent most of its life in service with the Turtle Lake Wisconsin
FPD. The outstanding condition of this truck cannot be overstated.
Mileage is said to be actual - 9,505. It is totally original and
virtually new. This long-bed ton Scottsdale has that distinctive
squared-off appearance that is just right for a pickup. The
original Red/White finish is excellent and chrome is outstanding.
Lettering on the side should be easy to remove and a sprayed bed
liner was installed. The factory vinyl interior is also in
excellent condition with a padded dash that holds a full compliment
of factory gauges and AM sound system. There is even Scottsdale
'faux-wood' trim and a Motorola CB radio. The clean engine
compartment houses a U-code 400ci/4V small-block that is totally
original. It is backed by a three-speed automatic and, based on the
4wd selector, this truck appears to have the two-speed, dual-range
NP203 transfer case w/Hi-Lo Lock feature. The 'Trailer Special'
chassis is rated at 10,000 GCW and is equipped with power steering,
power disc/drum brakes, coil-over shocks and dual fuel tanks.
Factory steel wheels mount 265x75/16" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A
radials. This is a classic, all-original 4x4 Scottsdale that any
Bowtie fan will be proud to own. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
