This 1935 Ford Coupe has been partially restored (paint/upholstery)
back to its original condition. Most of the work was completed in
1997. The current owner has had the Ford for over 20 years and the
odometer reads just under 22,000 miles, but we cannot verify if
that is actual. The coupe body is very straight with excellent
panel fit. Distinctive Biscuit Tan paint was professionally applied
and is in very good condition. Accents include beautiful chrome,
fog lights/horns, classic red wire wheels/caps and wide-white
radial tires. Sitting behind the big 'Banjo' steering wheel and
looking out over the long hood is a great experience. The
upholstery was restored in period-correct tan cloth, looks original
and is in excellent condition. Seating is two-in-the-front plus
two-in-the-rumble seat, and an outstanding dashboard has working
gauges. Our Ford is powered by a rebuilt 221ci flathead that has
been upgraded with performance features. It is fitted with
Offenhauser cylinder heads, aluminum intake, 2V Holley carburetor
and runs as smooth as silk. Behind the flathead, the 3-speed manual
transmission has the factory floor-mounted shifter. A 6-volt
alternator electrical system performs well and drum brakes handle
stopping requirements. If you are considering an original pre-war
Ford come and study this stunning coupe. You will not be
disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
