This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2-Door Convertible is a cool car that's ready for top down cruising. Our client is a car collector and enthusiast who had this car parked amongst his collection. Getting up there in years, he's decided to thin the herd, and sell this one. This Malibu features aftermarket wheels, a new interior, power top, and a 350ci V8 among other great features. The car is finished in Red, although it left the Kansas City plant wearing Ash Gold paint with a black convertible top (code G2). We think the Red it currently wears makes the car look a bit sportier. The custom 15 American Racing wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich white letter tires and dual exhaust also add to the sporty look. The interior is finished in the factory correct black (code 765), including the vinyl seats. One interesting note about the seats is that according to the Trim Tag, this car left the factory with Buick seats. That fact is noted on the trim tag (code 158) right next to the interior trim color. The interior is well kept and features an upgraded stereo, tilt wheel, three spoke steering wheel, power top, and column shift. This car is powered by a 350ci V8. The engine block is a CMP coded block pulled from a 1991 Firebird. It has a 4BBL carburetor and custom exhaust system strapped to it which includes DynaTech headers. The car is turn-key ready and runs down the road with confidence. It is a nice Chevelle without any excuses.
