Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is excited to present this 1973
Ford F100 Pickup Truck for sale. The sixth generation of the Ford
F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and medium-duty commercial
trucks that were produced by Ford Motor Company from the 1973 to
1979 model years. Produced by Ford in North America, Argentina, and
Australia, this is the third and final generation of trucks derived
from the 1965 Ford F-Series. This generation was launched in
December 1972 for the 1973 model year. While retaining the same
chassis of the previous generation, several revisions were made. To
fight corrosion, Ford increased its use of galvanized sheet metal,
zinc coated steel, and zinc-rich primer. To increase safety, the
fuel tank was moved out of the cab (to below the pickup bed),
creating a storage area behind the bench seat. This specific Pickup
Truck is believed to be all original, untouched. Powering this
beauty is the original 240-1V Engine paired with the stock 3 Speed
Manual transmission. Shifts just as good as the day is rolled off
the factory line. This Pickup Truck is dressed in its original
Raven Black exterior paint, partnered with black vinyl interior
bench seat. Options on this classic time piece are Power Steering,
Power Brakes, AM Radio, Cruise Control, Aluminum Alloy Wheels,
Radial Tires, and Numbers Matching. This 1973 Ford F100 Pickup
Truck is for sale in our Detroit Showroom and can be seen in
greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a Full HD video at
