With a great color combo, original V8 power, and a highly detailed
high-class appearance, this 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo offers quite
a lot of appeal for quite an obtainable price. So this coupe is
already desirable before you know its coming off of over three
decades of long-term ownership.
This is a thoughtfully done presentation and it starts with how
everything on the exterior is well-coordinated. The red paint was
an upgrade later in life, and it's a nice improvement over the
car's original earthtone style. Plus, it looks extra special with
the addition of redline tires. The newer black vinyl roof is a
great way to always distinguish a premium classic. Not only does it
show off the Monte Carlo's exclusive hardtop profile, but also the
full-length rocker trim has a black strip to give the whole package
a harmonious appearance. The sheetmetal looks nice, so it shows off
the car's unique curves, and the Monte Carlo badging is clean and
complete. All of this makes for the kind of classic that commands
the same kind of respect that this premium Chevy did when new.
We love it when the roof color is a preview of what's inside. The
full black presentation is another one of this car's upgrades. The
soft feel of the dash pad, plush newer carpeting, and smooth feel
of the bright trim are all part of an investment in quality. So
while it looks stock - right down to the button-top seats - it all
feels quite a bit fresher. Within this darkness, the burled walnut
simulated wood on the steering wheel and dash are terrific
standouts. This dash still has the classic 8-track AM/FM radio and
factory air condition controls (they will need servicing to fully
function.) This is a driver-oriented setup where you have a clear
view to the round gauge package that reinforces both the premium
and sporty feeling.
Under the hood is the original numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8.
Its tidy condition is another testament of how this coupe has been
in long-term respected care. In fact, we love how the bold orange
block and valve covers radiate from within the dark engine bay. And
as you dig deeper, you're going to signs of good maintenance
everywhere from the hoses to the power brake booster. The
four-barrel carburetor lets the small block inhale deeply, and the
Flowmaster dual exhaust makes a nice V8 tune that's never to
boisterous. And as Chevrolet's personal luxury statement, so you
get great driving features such as the three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
The sale comes complete with the factory buildsheet and owner's
manual. This is a great-looking Chevy package offered for a great
price. Call today!!!
