1957 Ford Thunderbird This is a California car that I have had for
19 years. The car is Colonial white with two tone blue interior
(original colors) 312 V8 automatic power steering power windows
power brakes power seats I have done a body on restoration over the
years with the interior and paint done about 16 years ago. Interior
is still like new. Aftermarket stereo with cassette player. The
paint has nice gloss but does have some small chips. The bumpers
were rechromed but are somewhat dull. The engine and suspension
were redone 8 years ago and there are less than 1000 miles on it
since then. The car had 104,000 miles on it when I bought it in
1998. There are less than 110,000 miles on it now. Aftermarket
front disc brakes were put on then also. I just put on a new
generator, voltage regulator, solenoid, and cables last fall
battery is about three years old new wide white tires removable
port hole hard top. I do not have a soft top Radiator was restored
and functions well. Heater is not working. I'm not sure if the
motor needs to be replaced or if it was just connected improperly
during the dash replacement. I never drove it during cold weather
and had no need for the heater. The car is not a show car but a
great looking driver that gets a lot of looks. I just don't drive
it much anymore and it should go to someone who can enjoy it more.
I have invested over 40,000 in the car over the years and have
receipts.
