For Sale: 1993 Land Rover Defender in Atlanta, Georgia

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 5-door wagon. This D110 was purchased by the current owner in Australia while he was stationed there in the military. He brought the truck back with him to the U.S. upon his return in 2018. At that time is was titled and registered in Georgia and is being sold on a clean Georgia title with accompanying import documentation.

While in Australia and under current ownership the 200Tdi engine was rebuilt along with the transmission and transfer case. Many underhood components were powder coated and much of the zinc hardware was replaced. New injectors were also installed along with a new wiring harness. The wheels were stripped and powder coated and new Bridgestone tires were mounted. The heater box and many dash components were also replaced along with the radiator and hoses. Mechanically this truck is well sorted - it starts easily and makes good power.

Cosmetically this example shows to a driver standard. The bones are good - the frame is solid and the underside appears original and unmolested. There is some typical corrosion in the bottom of the door skins and some rust in the bulkhead below the windshield. The Portofino Red paint finish has some light oxidation but no signs of accident damage or previous repair. Seat upholstery is in good condition and new floor mats, center console and fender flares were just installed. A modern stereo and CB radio are installed but not wired - likewise the factory A/C components are mostly intact but new hoses and some additional sorting may be required to get it up and running.

A number of new and spare parts are included - notably a new-in-box Mantec swing away spare tire carrier. If you are looking for a D110 with solid bones and fresh mechanicals to put your finishing touches on this Land Rover should be on your short list.
