Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present
this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS tribute. Covered in Matador red with
white stripe and Deep red interior this classic could and maybe
should be on display at a '60 museum. I wonder if there is a '60
museum? Anyway, this classic Camaro has all the classic looks that
we have come to love through the years and a lot of upgrades.
Powering this classic is a 400 Cubic inch Chevrolet that is
equipped with an Edelbrock (R) Performer intake that is topped with
a Weber(R) 4-barrel Carburetor giving this mighty mouse instant
throttle response. An H.E.I. distributor lights the fire in all 8
cylinders and a set of headers provide easy breathing and a throaty
exhaust note. The transmission backing this is a turbo hydra- matic
350 commonly known as a turbo 350. Known for higher line pressures
these turbos 350's provide firm shifting for tire barking shifts
into 2nd and 3rd. Both of these driveline components have been
rebuilt recently. The upgrades continue with 4 wheel disc brakes,
dual exhaust and cassette player. Hey the Cassette player would fit
right in at the '60's museum as well. Options for this 1968 Camaro
SS tribute include: AM/FM cassette player, Power steering, Vinyl
interior, Seat belts and rally rims with radial tires. can be seen
