1949 Studebaker 2R5-12 1/2 ton pickup. Serial number HR5-2759. 427ci V8 engine with a 700R4 4 speed automatic O/D. Has been stored in a private garage since being built. Body sits on a 1986 GM 1/2 ton frame that has been shortened as required. Transmission was rebuilt in 2002 with a 2500 stall torque converter and a skit kit. Engine has been bored .030 over and has a compression ratio of 9.5:1. 12 bolt posi-traction differential with a 4.11:1 gear ratio mounted. New 4 core radiator was mounted in 2002. Hood and fenders were repainted in 2004. Custom built box. 2010 had 34,778 km on odometer and now reads 35,055 km in 2020.
